Visit two of the touristic highlights of Panama City, both located only 15 minutes away from its downtown: the impressive Panama Canal and the lush Metropolitan National Park.

Start the day with an early morning hike, enjoying the great biodiversity of this protected area, then continue with a visit to the Miraflores Locks and experience firsthand the operations of the Panama Canal.


Tour Description

Get an early start to enjoy nature as you hike through the only wildlife park in Panama within the boundaries of our metropolitan capital. Only fifteen minutes from downtown Panama, the Metropolitan Natural Park is home to a great variety of birds, plants, mammals and much more.

After an interesting two hour hike, we will drive you to the Miraflores Locks to witness the Panama Canal in full operation, as the northbound ship convoy passes through its locks, on their way from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic.
